Goldie keeps your chairs booked. Zolie (formerly Callie) runs your phone. She answers in your own cloned voice when you're mid-cut, tells callers which barber has what open, and texts them your Goldie booking link.

The calls you miss are bookings you lose.

Barbershop calls are impulse calls: someone wants a cut today or tomorrow with their barber, and they're calling shops in order until one answers. When you're with a client — exactly when you're busiest — that booking goes to the next shop on the list. Walk-in culture doesn't leave voicemails.

What Zolie does for a Goldie business

  • Answers when you can't — only when you're with a client or don't pick up within ~15 seconds. Otherwise your phone rings like normal.
  • Speaks in your voice — cloned from a ~20-second recording, so callers hear you, not a call center.
  • Knows your services — names, durations, and prices from your menu and your site, so she answers the "how much is…" questions that decide bookings.
  • Checks your live Goldie openings by barber — tells the caller what’s free, then texts them your Goldie booking link to book.
  • Filters the junk — robocalls and spam never reach you; real callers arrive as a tidy text recap of who called, what they wanted, and whether they booked.

Live openings by barber on the call, booking link by text

Zolie reads your public Goldie booking page — no login needed — so she knows your real services, prices, every barber on the team, and their open times. When the caller picks a time, she texts them your Goldie booking link and they book it in a few taps. Goldie has no public booking API and its booking page only accepts bookings made by a person, so Zolie can’t place, change, or cancel Goldie bookings herself. Because the caller books through Goldie, your booking policy, approval step, and deposits work as always.

Sounds like you, not a robot

Calls Zolie answers for your Goldie business are answered in a clone of your voice, from one ~20-second recording you make right after checkout — so regulars hear the owner, not a stock receptionist. Prefer not to record? Pick Zolie's natural voice at signup instead. How the cloned voice works.

Goldie barbers ask us

Does Zolie book directly into Goldie?
Not directly. Goldie has no public booking API, and its booking page only accepts bookings a person makes in a browser. Zolie checks your live openings, tells the caller what’s free — by barber if they ask — and texts them your Goldie booking link to book themselves. Example: “Joyce has 9:30 open Tuesday — I just texted you the link to grab it.”
Can callers ask for a specific barber?
Yes. Zolie reads every barber on your Goldie page and each one’s open times, so “anything with Alfred on Friday?” gets a real answer. If that barber has nothing open, she offers first available or the booking link.
Do my Goldie booking policy, approvals, and deposits still apply?
Yes. The caller books in Goldie through your own link, so your booking policy agreement, manual approval (if you confirm bookings by hand), deposits, and cancellation window work exactly as they always do.
Can Zolie cancel or reschedule a Goldie appointment over the phone?
No. Goldie has no public booking API, so Zolie can’t look up, change, or cancel Goldie bookings. She takes down the appointment and what the caller wants changed, tells them your shop will follow up to confirm, and texts you the request right away.
What does an AI receptionist for Goldie cost?
Starter is $49/month with 10 real customer calls in total per month, then $2.50 per additional customer call — spam calls and hang-ups are screened free and never billed. Essential is $149/month flat — no per-call fees, no usage cutoff — with priority support. No per-seat or per-staff add-ons, and nothing changes in your Goldie subscription. Both plans start with a 14-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee on your first paid month.
What can Zolie see in my Goldie account?
Nothing inside your account. She reads only your public Goldie booking page — what any visitor sees: services, prices, staff, and open times. No login to hand over, no client records, no card data. More at getzolie.com/trust.
Can I keep my own phone number?
Yes. You keep your existing business number and forward it to Zolie only when you're busy or don't pick up within about 15 seconds. Callers dial the same number they always have. Carrier-specific forwarding instructions land in your inbox at setup.
What if I switch booking platforms later?
Nothing breaks. Zolie is platform-neutral — if you move your calendar later, you connect the new platform in your Zolie dashboard and she carries on answering the same phone line. Your voice clone, knowledge base, and number forwarding all stay as they are.

The caller you missed mid-fade is already dialing the next shop — Zolie answers with your booking link in hand.
